Yes. We are committed to providing financial assistance to qualifying families and are actively pursuing the establishment of an endowment to support this effort.
Yes. Xavier Prep will be accredited through Cognia.
Xavier Prep will offer honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, while meeting and exceeding all state academic standards.
Yes. We plan to field competitive teams in football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, cross country, and track. In addition, we will offer a robust selection of arts and co-curricular programs.
We intend to maintain class sizes between 15 and 25 students.
Chesterton Academies operate alongside traditional, non-Classical Catholic high schools in many communities nationwide. A Chesterton Academy provides a more specialized, classical approach, whereas Xavier Prep will offer a broader Catholic high school experience. We hope to provide families with additional Catholic educational options as they discern the best fit for their students, and we are building a collaborative relationship with the local Chesterton Academy to strengthen Catholic education in Central Oregon.
Xavier Prep will operate under the auspices of the Diocese of Baker as an independently financed Catholic high school. Funding will come from a combination of tuition and ongoing fundraising efforts.
